What services do you offer?
Essentially, we offer five services which are all complementary and can be tailored to your needs: crewed event services, equipment dry hire, long-term contracts for venues, bespoke installations and maintenance/technical services.
Where are you based ?
 We are based in Central London, in Angel, Islington. Our address is Halo Lighting ltd, units 4 & 5, rear of 9 White Lion Street, London N1 9PD. The closest Underground station is Angel (Northern Line), 1 minute walk from our warehouse / head office. If you are collecting your equipment, we have free parking bays in front of the warehouse.
What are your opening hours ?
 Our Opening Hours are Monday – Friday 8.30am – 5.30pm. We are closed on Saturdays and Sundays.

Hires FAQs
How can I pay ?
You can pay by Bank Transfer, pay by card (debit or credit) over the phone or we can send you a link to pay online. Please note that payment in full must reach us before we can release the equipment.

How do I open an account with you ?
If you are already doing regular business with us, it might be easier to open a business account with us. Please let our team know and our Finance department will send you an account application form. All account applications are subject to suppliers and credit checks.

What products are available to hire ?
We carry a varied range of equipment for use in the theatre, club, entertainment and corporate markets. Lighting, audio, audio visual, special effects and staging form the core of our stock but we hold other classes of equipment too. Head to our hires page to see the full range of our equipment.
How do I request a hire quote ?
You can either request a quote on our website using the message box at the bottom of the product pages, call us on 020 7607 4444 or email us at hires@halo.co.uk. We aim to get back to you within 30 minutes within working hours.
How long in advance did I need to book ?
Book as soon as you can. We carry a large stock of our most popular equipment but the earlier you confirm the more likely it is to be available.

How do I make changes to my hire ?
Once a hire is confirmed we can change it if you need to make last-minute alterations. There may be a charge according to the extent of the change and how busy our warehouse is.
Can I cancel my hire ?
We allow for cancellations within the time frame laid out in our Terms and Conditions. Halo reserves the right to charge a fee of up to 50% of the total fee for orders cancelled up to 7 days before the beginning of the hire and up to 100% when cancellation occurs within 24 hours before the beginning of the hire

Does Halo deliver to my area ?
Halo delivers nationwide, however deliveries outside London and surrounding areas will be subject to additional costs and may require prior booking. Please contact us for more details.

Can I collect equipment from you ?
Yes, anytime during our opening hours. If you have a special requirement or out-of-hours need, let us know and we’ll try to help.
My equipment isn't working. What should I do ?
This is unusual given our warehouse procedures, but it does happen. Please make sure you test equipment as soon as possible and let us know immediately if there is a problem. We can usually have a replacement out to you within minutes during our opening hours. Outside of these hours we can often help with a workaround or a replacement – please call our Emergency Number 07886 604 128
What happens if equipment is lost or damaged during a hire ?
Damage sometimes occurs, of course. We will let you know as soon as possible and then issue an invoice for repair or replacement which you can use to claim from your insurance company.
Events FAQs
How long in advance do I need to contract you ?
The earlier the better as events take time to plan. However, we can turn things around very quickly if you have a last-minute job. Just call us to check availability.

Can I visit you to discuss my event ?
One of our experienced Production managers will be happy to assist you and take you through all the steps of your project, from concept, to choice of equipment and execution
Do you carry out site visits? Do you charge ?
Yes, we do carry out site visits. This may be the best way to assess your requirements and price up your event. We normally charge a £75 call out fee for this.
Do you organise delivery of the equipment ?
Our team of drivers can deliver all the equipment and collect it after the event.
Will you help me set up my equipment ?
We will organise a team of specialised engineers to install, test, operate and derig the equipment.
Do you provide operators ?
Yes, we do. Please ask us if you require a lighting, audio or an AV operator.
Can I cancel my production once I have received an invoice ?
We allow for cancellations within the time frame laid out in our Terms and Conditions. Halo reserves the right to charge the full fee for production fee if it is cancelled less than 7 days before it is due to take place.

Sales FAQs
What products are available to buy ?
Our sales range reflects our experience as an event and hire company. Along the years we have narrowed our options to equipment and consumables which we have come to love and trust. You will not find an extensive range, but each item has been carefully selected for value and functionality. Head to our Sales page to see our ranges.
How do I request a sales quote ?

What are the lead times ?
They vary from same day to a few days, depending on whether we have the goods in stock.
Can you organise delivery ?
We will organise delivery as per your requirements and location, subject to a delivery charge.
Can I return my product ?
We will not accept returns on equipment sold unless it is found to be faulty. We do accept return of sales consumables subject to a 30% restocking fee and prior to agreement with Halo. Previously used or owned goods – second hand sales goods- will be sold as seen, with no warranty and no return. This policy does not affect your statutory rights.

Installations FAQs
What is an installation ?
What we call an installation is any bespoke project that requires installation of equipment – this might be a new LED dancefloor for your venue or some effects to lighten a shop window. Over the years, we have installed lighting, sound and audio-visual systems in many of London’s best known venues including nightclubs, bars, hotels, and restaurants, places of worship and even a boat and a limousine! Can you meet us on site to discuss our project? Do you charge ?
Yes, we can meet you on site to discuss your project. This may be the best way to assess your requirements. We do not charge for an initial meeting.
Can I visit you to discuss my project ?
Our team of experts will be happy to take your project from inception. From an initial visit and subsequent consultations, we will produce the right design for your vision, source and provide equipment, fabricate custom solutions where necessary and provide installation services. Do you offer design services?
How long does an installation take from start to finish ?
Time may vary from one project to another depending on the complexity and scope of the installation. We will always agree timelines at the early stages of the project.
Do you provide maintenance and repair services for installations?
If you want peace of mind regarding your installation, we can offer you after sale maintenance contracts as well as technical support. Please feel free to discuss with our team.
