The Brief:

VIN + OMI are award winning fashion and multimedia designers who work internationally. Their fashion work spans film, television, music and one-off creations and they produce two fashion collections each year. Their designs have been worn by a range of artists and public figures including Debbie Harry, Kate Moss, Charlie XCX, Miley Cyrus, Beyonce, Lady Gaga, Pamela Anderson and Michelle Obama. Their latest February 2018 fashion week show was held at the Andaz London Liverpool Street Hotel, and the collection was called ‘WE ARE NOT SHEEP’.
Halo have been sponsoring VIN + OMIs London Fashion week shows for a number of years and have been providing lighting and audio visual for the event.

The Event:

For the 2018 show, Halo were asked to install 10 screens around the room showing the same images at the same time (using a BrightSign media player). This was because, one of their main celebrity supporters, Debbie Harry of Blondie, could not attend the show in person though they had a video of her walking in a piece of the collection.
To light the space, we used 32 generic lights on stands and on scaffolding pole structures. We also had uplighters around the room to highlight the artwork.
The entire event, with set up, show and de rig took place over a single day.
