The Hitachi CP-X2541WN is an ideal projector suitable for the classroom or meeting room. The LCD technology will give you realistic and true-to-life colours. With a brightness of 2700 lumens, this is suitable for a room with a little light coming through but you may have to dim the lighting slightly.

The XGA resolution is suitable for Power Point presentations, spreadsheets, images and short video clips. If you are looking to show movies, WXGA resolution is more suitable as this is widescreen and most modern devices are also now widescreen. You will not get any compression going from WXGA to XGA but your pixels may stretch when watching videos. However, XGA will still give you a sharp image. This projector can be installed or used as a portable unit as it is only 3KGs.

Connect using the HDMI input to show your content in high definition and this port allows you to connect to nearly all devices. There are HDMI and two VGA ports so you can connect to multiple sources at the same time without swapping cables around.

There is a 16W integrated speaker for audio. You can leave your laptop at home as you can present using a USB stick using the USB port. Also, as a cheap upgrade you can purchase a wireless dongle. The Hitachi CP-X2541WN has a standard throw ratio, so if you are 2m away from your screen the width of your image will be between 111cm and 133cm.
