The Brief

With the opening of the Tree Terrace on the 39th floor of Heron tower, Sushi Samba wanted to highlight their custom sculptured 6m x 8m orange tree that sits in the heart of the bar. It was important that the lighting enhanced the ‘sculptural design that reinforces the restaurant’s earth to sky motif.’

The installation

Our engineers wrapped warm yellow round fairy lights around the trunk and every branch, evenly throughout. To further enhance the tree in the decor, some more LED tape was installed around the bar and some general white lights – Intimidator 350s – were used to help the contrast.

The Challenges

The high winds during the installation period made it quite challenging as our technicians were working on a Scaff tower and ladders.
