The Brief

Ballie Ballerson is a ball pit cocktail bar based in Shoreditch. Ballie Ballerson wanted to create a nightclub atmosphere using lighting and asked Halo to light their main ball pit both from both underneath and overhead. One important requirement was that the lights would generate movement at all time and never remain static.

The Installation

Fort the ball pit, we designed and manufactured a 9m x 8m grid which we fitted with some RGB LED tiles. The tiles were programmed to constantly light up in different sequences and colours via a custom control system. We also installed lasers around the ball pit so that the beams would reflect off the balls. We completed the club atmosphere with some Haze machines.

The Challenges

The main challenge was at the design stage to make sure the lighting would fully reflect the uniqueness of the venues.
