Amy Winehouse Foundation ball 2014
Brief & objectives
London audio visual support is critical when a charity gala includes live music, celebrity speeches and a fast-moving auction. The Amy Winehouse Foundation asked Halo to create an immersive all-pink experience that would wow 250 VIP guests and maximise donations for its youth programmes as they celebrate their annual charity ball.
Client – Amy Winehouse Foundation
Venue – The Landmark Hotel, Marylebone
Date – 18 November 2014

Our solution
Lighting design
First, we ringed the Landmark ballroom with battery uplighters, each mapped to rich pink and magenta hues. Next, Source Four profiles bathed the stage in crisp white, letting presenters sparkle against the pink backdrop.
Stage & scenic
We installed a 30-inch LiteDeck platform on 1-inch legs, framed with a black star-cloth that glittered between speeches and musical numbers. A matching pink runner stitched the stage visually to the room..
Audio-visual highlights
Two 84-inch LED screens flanked the stage, with four additional repeater screens around the room. These displayed impact videos and live auction lots so every guest—from Graham Norton to Barbara Windsor—remained fully engaged.
