The Lost Alhambra

Adventure Bar’s Leicester Square debut merges Art Deco with modern tech, reviving London’s nightclub scene. Halo’s custom luminous columns, coving illumination, and interactive pixel grid from Angel Studio recreate the plush ambiance of the Lost Alhambra.

 

Sushi Samba

For the Tree Terrace debut at Heron Tower’s 39th floor, Sushi Samba aimed to showcase their custom 6m x 8m orange tree. Lighting played a crucial role in enhancing the sculptural design, emphasizing the restaurant’s earth to sky motif. Our engineers wrapped warm yellow fairy lights around the tree’s trunk and branches, supplemented by LED tape and Intimidator 350s around the bar for contrast. Despite challenges posed by high winds during installation, our technicians persevered on scaffolding towers and ladders.

Tracks and Records

Usain Bolt’s Tracks and Records Bar, Restaurant, and Lounge opened near Liverpool Street Station in October 2018. With a restaurant on the ground floor and a lively dance floor below, the management aimed to blend modernity with Bolt’s Jamaican heritage in the lighting design. Backlighting, LED tape, and an LED pixel ceiling were installed for a chic and thematic ambiance. An LED flowing staircase added an extra touch of visual flair to the space.

Ghost Notes

Ghost Notes, a versatile space serving as a restaurant/cafeteria by day and a bar/nightclub/live venue by night, required flexible lighting. We installed RGBA LED tape in custom aluminum extrusions on the ceiling for ambiance, programmed to change colors with a sound-to-light function. Additional LED tape illuminated the bar front, and Core Par 80s were strategically placed for live performances. The venue’s unique history as a former parking lot posed structural challenges we navigated creatively.
