Events FAQs
How long in advance do I need to contact you ?
The earlier the better as events take time to plan. However, we can turn things around very quickly if you have a last-minute job. Just call us to check availability.
How do I request a production quote ?
You can either call our Production team on 020 7607 4444 to discuss your project or send a quick email to productions@halo.co.uk. Someone will be in touch within 30 minutes during normal hours.
Can I visit you to discuss my event ?
Yes. One of our experienced Production managers will be happy to assist you and take you through all the steps of your project, from concept, to choice of equipment and execution
Do you carry out site visits? Do you charge ?
Yes, we do carry out site visits. This may be the best way to assess your requirements and price up your event. We normally charge a £75 call out fee for this.
Do you organise delivery of the equipment ?
Our team of drivers can deliver all the equipment and collect it after the event.
Will you help me set up my equipment ?
We will organise a team of specialised engineers to install, test, operate and derig the equipment.
Do you provide operators ?
Yes, we do. Please ask us if you require a lighting, audio or an AV operator.
Can I cancel my production once I have received an invoice ?
We allow for cancellations within the time frame laid out in our Terms and Conditions. Halo reserves the right to charge the full fee for production fee if it is cancelled less than 7 days before it is due to take place.
What happens if equipment is lost or damaged during an event ?
Damage sometimes occurs, of course. We will let you know as soon as possible and then issue an invoice for repair or replacement which you can use to claim from your insurance company.
Where can I find your terms and conditions ?
Can you handle last-minute change?
Yes, flexibility is built into our event production approach. Our experienced crew can adapt to timing changes, layout modifications, content updates, and unforeseen challenges. We bring backup equipment and have technical expertise to solve problems quickly. We are based in Angel so it easy for us to get to any London venue quickly to fix an issue or implement a change.
What if our venue has technical limitations?
Our venue survey process identifies challenges like limited power supply, low ceilings, acoustic issues, or access restrictions. We then design production solutions that work within these constraints, which may include generator hire for power, ground-stacked lighting instead of rigged fixtures, acoustic treatment, or modified load-in schedules. Our experience across diverse venues means we’ve solved most technical challenges before.
What size of productions do you work on?
We work on all sizes of productions from a one light install to massive corporate dinners. No job is too small or too big.
