‘Socially, environmentally and through our charity partnerships – Halo makes a difference. We believe that as a company, there are countless ways in which we can have a positive impact on our society, and it is our duty to do so.’

A - Alignment. With sustainability goals.
Our HALO is for Alignment. We have the highest commitment to align our own sustainability goals with 2050 net zero transition. We will reduce our own emissions by 50% before 2030 and play a vital role in a healthier planet for future generations.
We have a clear plan in place to do so which includes robust waste management, energy and water usage strategies. This includes recycling 90% of all types of waste and joining local compost projects to offset the impact of food waste.
By switching to a renewable energy supplier, we have already made significant progress towards these goals. It has allowed us to decarbonise all the electricity use on our premises whilst allowing us to offer all our battery-operated items as net zero.
We recently invested in our first fully-electric delivery van, with immediate plans to convert the rest. We tirelessly work to ensure that our additional existing delivery vans have their routes carefully planned in order to reduce emissions.
We have also worked to minimise electrical waste by investing in equipment lifespan, through flight cases and in house maintenance, and by re-selling our older equipment where possible. We also recycle our older IT equipment.
We have also installed pressurised faucets and dual flush toilets to reduce water waste, in addition to fuelling our toilets and other non-drinking or water usage with grey-water collection.
These decisive actions will enable us to become ISO14001 certified in addition to ISO 9001 certification which all of our employees are fully committed to achieving.
Sustainability is also key to our supply chain, and we operate a zero-tolerance policy towards suppliers who produce their goods with forced labour or child labour, as set out in our 2025 Modern Slavery Statement.
We conduct due diligence on our suppliers by checking their production processes and Modern Slavery or Corporate Responsibility policies. This is to ensure that all of our equipment is also sustainable.
L - Leading Health & Safety
HALO is for Leading and we ensure that all relevant staff receive best in class training and certifications to perform their work safely. We enforce strict health and safety procedures which are greatly supported by Peninsula who provide an award winning 24/7 Health and Safety service. We are also proud PLASA members, the lead international membership body who supply technologies and services to the event and entertainment industries.
We are dedicated to supporting the professional development and wellbeing of our staff. We support flexible working and our Employee Assistance Programme and in addition to our wellbeing service provides mental health support, wellness tracking, and expert advice on improving the wellbeing of all of our people. We also have a cycle to work scheme, and all of our employees are encouraged to use greener transport method’s, in order to transform our mobility. We also ensure regular employee social events are available and weekly team building lunches in order to inspire internal and external change.
O - One Community
Finally, our HALO is for the One Community that we are based in and are extremely proud to support as well as be a part of. We have now played a vital role in local community initiatives for over 30 years and are an active member of the Islington Sustainability Network, contributing to wider community decarbonisation efforts. We are highly committed to our neighbours and provide equipment free of charge to local community events such as the Cally Festival, a vibrant event which brings 7000 of our local community together. Maverick Humanity is an additional initiative that we are extremely proud sponsors of as life-saving items are provided to those most vulnerable in our local society.
We look forward to supporting many more in the future and are extremely excited to do so!
